Bridge again

Bridge started for 1994 on Wednesday 2 February and after a few mumblings of, "I haven't played in 2 months - my brains rusted up", play got under way. Some brains weren't as rusty as others as there were several shams bid and made and more than half the boards were successfully played 'in game' . Pauline Le Noel and Brian Eades won the northsouth competition with 57.67% and not too far behind on 53.78% were John and Sandra Eades. First place in the eastwest direction went to Betty Hammond and Rita^ Kaiwhare who scored 57.52% and second place with a score of 55.50% went to Sarah Hamlin and Margaret Cornwall.
