King Country Labour Murray Simpson
We are now only a few days from casting our votes and still half the people in the King Country Electorate do not know me, what I stand for, wheather I am honest or dishonest, wheather my intentions are sincere or selfish. I am standing because I enjoy what I am doing and no other reason can surmount that, we all must have jobs we enjoy doing and then we will do them well. I have a manufacturing business and my first effort goes to ensure the future of my employees. If I was to take off full-time canvassing I would be placing their jobs at risk. I would love to knock on your door or speak at your meeting but this has not been possible. If I became your member of Parliament I would have exactly the same attitude to that job as I do to my business. Being responsible means stepping forward and saying "Right ho
folks! Let's get going." Please think carefully when you vote.
