PUBUC lllliiilillMl MEMBERS OF THE OHAKUNE SEARCH & RESCUE GROUP wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Robin Rowles who was killed in the road tragedy last week. Robin was active in search and rescue for many years and was a person who without question gave his time and skills in assisting in the rescue of people who could have lost their lives without help such as his. Deerstalking and trout fishing were a passion with Robin and he was also a very good taxidermist. Recently he was involved with the railway restoration at the Ohakune Junction. A joke, a story, sometimes stretched a little but always with a smile, is how we will remember Robin and we are sure he will be missed by everyone who was privileged to know him.
