The Cadet will be fully trained in all aspects of accounting work carried out in the Corporate Services Directorate. A sixth form certificate would be preferred. The successful applicant will be expected to study for an approved tertiary qualification during the three years of Cadetship. Study time and financial assistance will be given. At the completion of three years the cadet will be offered permanent employment with the Council. Youth rates are to be paid.
