The Mill is located at the base of Mt Ruapehu 17 km from the town of Ohakune in the central North Island. The position of Laboratory Supervisor involves the direct supervision of the pulp testing laboratory and two testers plus involvement with shift testing personnel. The major functions of the job are; assuring accuracy of test results, the transfer of this information into various reports and some project work. The applicant will be expected to work with little direct supervision and display good attention to detail. While not essential, previous supervisory experience, familiarity with pulp testing laboratories and experience with spreadsheets and computer generated reports would be highly desirable.
