Lucky little piglet

The wife of a certain health inspector recently bought a ticket in a local school raffle and thought nothing more about it. Recently the raffle was drawn and the prize, much to the surprise of both the health inspector and his wife, who held the winning ticket, tumed out to be a weaner piglet. When raffle organisers identified the unsuspecting winners - who hadn't claimed their prize - they found the wife worked in Waiouru while her husband operated from his base in Ohakune. When informed that he must collect his piglet the health inspector burst into uncontrollably hysterical laughter because he, if anyone, should know that pigs and their offspring are not allowed to be kept in Ohakune. He thought it must be some sort of practical joke as he was not aware that his wife had even bought a ticket. However, when the organisers continued to phone him saying that unless he collected his prize it would be brought

dow'n and tethered to the Council offices in Ohakune, the now desperate health inspector said, "please tell me I'm on Candid Camera. The matter has since been resolved - at least temporarily - but as the present location of the piglet may still be in contravention of the local by-laws, we await further developments in this continuing saga of the health inspector and the piglet.
