Marist too good for Ohakune
by
ossie
Even the recalling of veteran Robin Brown back into the Ohakune side did not stop a determined Marist team running riot in Sunday's women' s rugby. With the score 61 to nil at half-time, the final score looked to be heading for the hundreds. However in the second spell Ohakune held out the Marist raids, conceding 20 points. The whole Marist team played well and Pauline O'Leary scored seven tries. Players who stood out for Ohakune were wingers Anna Mason and Veteran Robin Brown. Forwards Kim Burrows, Jackie Henare and Jo Kohu.
