Uniform change
The Ruapehu College Board of Trustees approved an optional uniform for 6 th and 7 th form students, at their May meeting. Previously 7th form students or those in their fifth year at College were able to wear mufti but in 1992 this option was removed by the board with the intention of having a revised senior uniform for the winter From the beginning of Term Two 6th and 7th
form students can wear basically the dress uniform without the tie. Girls however can wear a white skivvy instead of a white blouse. To ensure the trousers and skirts are the correct grey the College will stock trousers and skirts, these should be available at the end of next week. The uniform change is part of a wider move to improve the uniform standard at the College.
