Ranana swim sports

by

Dearne

Haitana

On 24 February Ranana held a swimming sports day and they competed against two other schools, Pipiriki and Parikino. They had a very hard and tough competition at first but it got easier as the day went on. The first events were freestyle for the 12 year old girls then the boys after which came ihe under-water see-who-can-go-the-longest. Lewis Ranginui swam three lengths non-stop! It was lucky the races were over in time because it started to rain very hard but no-one went home without a smile. Every competitor from Pipiriki won prizes. Dearne Haitana won every event she went in.
