Ladies golf

Despite strong winds and poor weather K Greenwood played an excellent round on the opening day of the season to lower her handicap by one and win the Captains Trophy. J Martin was second and J Taylor a narrow third. Sixteen players turned up for the opening as well as four new players, B Hubbard, N Williams, P Kavanaugh and E Reiton. The entrance sheet is now up at the club for those wishing to enter club competitions, so members are asked to make sure their names are up if they wish to play this season.
