Tumblers open
The first open day for the Wanganui Motors Turoa Tumblers Gym Club was held last Tuesday. Ten new children attended, eight in the first session and two in the later session. The second open day is tonight 9 March with another one next week. There is still room for more kids to do their thing so parents are urged to take their children along to experience Kiwi Gym fun, 3.30pm for 5, 6 and 7 year olds and 5pm for 8 years and older. The competition squad have taken on the nickname 'The Falcons'. A bird of prey that devours its enemies. The first public display by 'The Falcons' will be at the Desert Fair, 13 March at 10am. with a second display at 11.30am. Between displays the equipment will be available for interested children to have a go. A highlight of the display will be a double somersault over one of the club's sponsors' cars.
