Possum poison plan
Permission has been granted for the Manawatu Wanganui Regional Council to continue its bovine TB possum control work with a 1080 poison drop in the Tangiwai - Waiouru area next February. The poisoning is designed to clear a buffer zone, to halt the southern migration of TB infected possums.
