Ladies Golf
The Waihape Silver pennent team played and drew with Palmerston North at Wanganui on Monday 31 August. We now have sponsors for all the LGU rounds and for these rounds the players have been divided into seniors and juniors. The cut-off being 24 handicap. This week the sponsors were Four Square and Barrett and Taura. P Mowat and B Berridge were the winners. P Mowat won the 6 ladies Golf Union and the putting with 31 putts. Jill Martin had a two, P Mowat two two's and Pat Mcllroy won the raffle. Please arrange what day you will play the 1st round of the championships with your opposition.
