Ruapehu had a. comfortable 6-0 win against Wanganui Collegiate Rangers on Saturday. 6 June Having already beaten them heavily in a precompetition match it was an opportunity for some senior players to study for examinations which start this week and for some of the reserve squad juniors to play. Lindsay Chan and Lee Baranauskas both had fine first games for the college. The defensive trio of Glen Marriott, Blair Cornwall and Lindsay Cast never looked j like letting anyone through to challenge reserve keeper Nathan i Davies. Michael Billmore had his best game of the season, controlling play in the midfield and scoring his first goal for the college. He was awarded player of the day.
