Nuclear Warships
• Your correspondent, Linda
Keith, incites your readers on the subject of nuclear powered warships and suggests they write to the Special Commission on Nuclear Propulsion. What an extrordinarily isular stance from someone, presumably living so far from any port. The Country relies on imports and exports - what happens to the King Country's primary produce - and therefore shipping through our ports. Nuclear propulsion will power cargo vessels in the not too distant future, saving alternative fuels and maintaining a cleaner atmosphere. What will Linda have to say then? Countries around the World are relying to an ever increasing degree on nuclear energy. Why worry about nuclear powered warships - they have hardly caused world wide catastrophes.
