Physio for league team
Local practitioner Don Allomes has been appoiftted as physiotherapist to the New Zealand Kiwis Rugby League team. Mr Allomes has served as physiotherapist for a number of sports groups in his career. He is qualified as a physical education teacher as well as in physiotherapy. He taught PE at Ruapehu College for five years but now has a full time physiotherapy practice, operating at Rangataua and at Marton. He has worked for the New Zealand Ski Team as trainer and physiotherapist, for the New Zealand Universities Rugby
League Team, for the British Isles combined services and police rugby union team, for the New Zealand Army Engineers' Australian tour, for the Solomon Islands Medical Army Corp, and for the New Zealand Softball Team 1991 tour of Canada and theUSA.
