Waimarino Pony Club
Fine weather helped to make the Waimarino Pony Clubs One Day Trial at Rokes property last Sunday a successful1 event. Fifty-five competitors took part, including 9 trialists vying for a place in the King Country Area Horse Trial team to compete at Blenheim in May. Cindy Langdon and Fiona Evans were successful in gaining places in the team. This is the third time Cindy and Alcazar have won the A1 section of the trials. Katrina Wilson and Kirsty Mcllroy both of Raetihi are the reserves for the team. There were 5 classes in all, with the introductory, training and area trial courses having alterations and new cross country jumps. Results: Introductory. Dressage; 1st H Lord, 2nd K Richards, 3rd M Mitchell. Overall; 1st H Lord, 2nd K Richards 3rd B Fannin. Adult. Dressage; 1st R Morris, 2nd H Cooper. Overall 1st R Morris, 2nd N Barton. Pre Training. Dressage; 1st K Edgarton, 2nd = D Workman S Gotlieb. Overall. 1st C Morrison, 2nd A Garland, 3rd K Stratford.
