Task Force Green starts in Raetihi
Raetihi's Task Force Green is now under way with a painting scheme in the main .street. Starting with Stewart Haitana's premises (formerly the dry cleaners) Mr Haitana intends operating a laundromat and second-hand clothing shop. The Raetihi Promo-
tions Group were able to arrange a favourable deal with Taubmans Paints for supply of materials as required for those main street business's wishing to give their premises a face-lift and the Promotions Group worked with the Employment Service to arrange the labour from
local Raetihi youth. "This is a combined effort for Raetihi, let's all work together for the betterment of our town, and encourage the lads and lasses and those who are keen to hold a paint brush in their hand and get in there and do something," say the organisers.
