Touch Football

If you have noticed lately that the Raetihi Recreation Grounds has a great influx of people running around on the field between 5pm and 8pm of an evening they are probably practising for Raetihi Touch Rugby which is to kick off tomorrow. Some 23 teams have officially entered the competition which includes men's open, ladies open and mixed open. The games to start tomorrow are 'friendlies' and the competition games will officially start on 13 November and run until Christmas. The games will resume after Christmas. Players are encouraged to make this a family affair with family teams taking part. Team Management are required to attend the Rugby Gym no later than 5.30pm for a short meeting tomorrow.
