Waimarino Golf
Despite the bad weather a good field enjoyed Sunday's Waimarino mixed foursomes golf tournament. Results are as follows: 36 hole gross; 1st G Bunkhorne and J Thompson, 1st runnerup P Creedy and K Devine, 2nd runner-up J Mcllroy and C Pritt, 3rd runner-up S Magee and N Cranston. 36 hole nett; lst G Allerby and A Pritt, lst runner-up A and J Thomas, 2nd run-ner-up T Spry and G Whale, 3rd runner-up T and K Tapp. 18 hole A M Stableford; lst T and F Geraghty, runners-up K and C Leary. 18 hole P M Par; lst N Cranston and K Greenwood, run-ners-up J Ennis and J Taylor. The tree iron was won by R Spry and A Roke. The tournament was sponsored by Starline Services Limited.
