Holmes Show
• I was concerned to see the image presented on last week's Paul Holmes programme of some of Ohakune's winter accommodation premises. It ranged from dangerous to downright disgusting and while I do not know the rights and wrongs of the conflict between the Ruapehu District Council and the property owner whose boarding house was the subject of the TV programme, it is certainly a matter of utmost urgency that the Council turn their attention to some of these other properties before there is a serious accident resulting from appalling overcrowding in near-derelict buildings.
