The ski Ruapehu Marketing Campaign was successfully launched at the Auckland Ski Show on 25&26 May. Well over 12,000 people attend the show which was the best ski show ever held in Auckland according to Scott Lee, Marketing Manager for Whakapapa Ski Area. He said a staff of eight were kept very busy for

the entire three days. The travelling road show continues with shows in Albany and Whangarei this week and Wanganui next week. "The skiing public is really enthusiastic about the alternative activities available in the area, and the brochure that lists all the accommodation establishments in the

area was very popular. We gave away over 4,000 Ski Ruapehu brochures. I am confident we've got the right product," said Scott.

The advertising campaign for ski Ruapehu kicks off at the end of June with a major travel agency and media launch in, Auckland
