Two Victoria caps
Two people with Raetihi connections were capped at Victoria University at the beginning of May. Rachel Peck, youngest daughter of Rev Bob and the late Peggy Peck was capped Bachelor of Arts on 1 May. Rachel is an ex-Ru-apehu College student and is presently employed in the Wellington branch of the Accident Compensation Corporation. Sandra Lamb, daughter of Jan and Bob Lamb of Raetihi was capped Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws on 2
May. Sandra grew up in Wellington and went to Hutt Valley High School but spent considerable time in Ohakune where the family had a ski
lodge for 1 1 years before her parents moved to Raetihi permanently. Sandra works as a law clerk for Chapman, Tripp, Sheffield and Young in Wellington.
