Outdoor odysseys planned

The Outdoor Pursuits Centre is searching for participants to take part in one of four epic adventures call "Odyssey". In January 1992, OPC will be running four different Odysseys throughout New Zealand. These expeditions, taking ten New Zealanders and two accompanying instructors, will be epic adventures of exploring mountains, rivers, bush, caves and oceans while travelling from either Wellington to Cape Reinga, New Plymouth to Wairoa, Napier to

Wanganui, and Milford Sound to Farewell Spit. Participants will be kayaking, tramping cycling, canadian canoeing, rafting, mountain climbing, caving, sea kayaking

and sailing throughout the journeys. In addition to the outdoor skills developed during the expeditions, historical and geographical aspects of New Zealand will also be covered.
