Ruapehu netball
Saturdays netball was played in wet cool conditions. Some very close games played. The netball division last week had the return visit of Betty Carrick, Bendon netball co-ordi-nator, with an evening session being held in the college gym. For those few people who attended it was very beneficial. Once again for the amount of teams and players, the small percentage that made the effort to turn up was quite poor. "This is very disappointed for the co-ordi-nator as well as the division ", said organ-
isers. "It makes one wonder is it worth all the effort getting these people to come, as the senior players seem to know everything and don't need these people trying to help them improve their game" There will be no netball on 18 May. Results from Saturday 11 May Navy 25 v Waiouru2 21, College 2. 6 v Waimarino 34, Ruapehu 22 v MGS 31, Karioi 30 v College 3 13, Checkers 13 v Ramblers 2 19, College 1 20 v Seekers 19, Transport 2:4 v Waiouru 3 12, Raetihi 29 v Ramblers 1 14
