Cheaper fire in Hamilton
Cr Bill Murphy told the Ruapehu District Council he had it on good authority that it was cheaper to be cremated in Hamilton than to be buried in Taumarunui - and that included transport. The gem of information came during the council's fees setting at their last meeting, and Cr Eddie Turley followed up the advice with an unkind comment about his fellow councillorlA
