Schools compete in X country
The interschools cross country was held at Orautoha school in perfect conditions on Friday 3 May. Runners from National Park, Raetihi, Ohakune, Orautoha, Rangataua, Waiouru and Ngamatea
primary schools competed in junior intermediate and senior girls and boys cross country. The competition is held at Orautoha each year. The winners certificates were given to the individual schools to be taken back and presented. ResuIts:Junior boys; 1

Girls; 1 Shelley Gotlieb (Ohak), 2 Tammy Evans (Ohak), 3 Sally Williams (Orau). Senior boys; 1 George Taura (Raet), 2 Andrew Murdie (Ohak), 3 Mark Haddon (Raet). Girls 1 Jessie Pope (Raet), 2 Frana Christensen (Raet), 3 Jacelyn Blake (Ohak).
