Pony officers elected
At the recent annual general meeting of the Ohakune Pony Club the following officers were elected: patron Ian Roke, president Peter Richards, secretary/treasurer Eileen Gotlieb, head instructor (for her 10th year - approximately!) Evelyn Cooper. Mrs Cooper presented her report to the meeting, saying the 1990-91 year had been extraordinary one with a record 19 rallies. She said only one was unmounted due to bad weather. Attendances were good and membership was at 14 riders. She congratulated all riders for their progress, with Adrian Fetzer, Shelly Bath and Karen Richards attaining their 'D' certificates. Fiona Evans represented the club the King Country team for the zone dressage finals, and Melanie Mitchel travelled to Gisborne as un-
mounted reserve, and represented the Waimarino Pony Club at Timberlands, continuing her good performances on Tara Lad with a 4th in her dressage ring and completed her 1st open cross country. Mrs Cooper also praised the parent help scheme and thanked all
parents as well as the Roke and Warren families, president Peter Richards, secretary Janet Duigan, as well as Maureen Warren, Eileen Gotlieb, Heather Cooper and Loraine Taylor. She also thanked on behalf of the club all who supported the club's shop day and raffle.
