Long serving swim club members retire

Two long serving members of the Raetihi Swimming Club were given special votes of thanks at the Annual General Meeting on 15 April. Bernice Cochrane had been involved with the swimming club for 28 years and at the time of her retirement Mrs Cochrane was the auditor for the club. Barbara Dobson retired after 12 years with the club. Over the years Mrs Djtfbson has been president, secretary, treasurer and coach. The contributions of both ladies was acknowledged by the committee. Officers elected for the coming year are: Ross Journeaux patron, Keitha Journeaux president, Rona Te Huia Vice President, Lyn Pope Secretary /treasurer, diving coach Cynthia Binzegger. Committee Cynthia Binzegger, Bob Grave, Marie Scarrow, Anne Summerhays and Nancy Winter.
