Thames St paths to be fixed

Ohakune's Thames Street footpaths will receive some attention, the area manager told the Waimarino Community Board at their April meeting. A letter from business people in the area wrote to the board expressing concern that the cobblestones in the street were not only unsightly but now a safety hazard. Area manager Don Sattler said there was money in the footpaths maintenance fund to make a start on fixing the paths.
