Baths fund grows

Ohakune's baths heating fund needed a boost last week when it was found that some of the elements needed replacing, said one of the organisers, June Bates. She said however, that finding the money was no problem with many more individuals contributing. Those who added to the fund included R&S Wilson, K&N Sue, R&P Frew, B&L Eades, B&C Norling, F&L Taylor, B Treweek, G&J Dixon, NZ Post, the Ruapehu Bulletin plus some who had insisted on remaining anonymous. The pool heating has proved a popular move, said Mrs Bates.
