Raetihi school athletics
"Gold House" brought home the most points to win the 1989 Raetihi School athletics day held on Wednesday. Perfect conditions meant an enjoyable day for all. The day included both track and field events, finishing with a teams relay against parents, staff and senior members. Results: Junior Girls champ, Yvonne Cribb;
Runner Up, Ei Leen Voon. Junior Boys champ, Daniel Forster; Runner Up, Brian Grossard. Intermediate Girls, Lee McCann; Runner Up, Gloria Peni. Intermediate Boys, Devon Gray; Runner Up, Aaron Kairumu. Senior Girls, Sherry Hansen; Runner Up, Marama Cribb. Senior Boys, Leini Hakaumotu; Runner Up, Kelly Arahunga.
