Squash AGM

The Waimarino Squash Club held its Annual general meeting on Monday 27 November. President for the Squash Club for the 1989 season Carol Learly presented her report. She stressed that lack of membership support has caused a serious problem within the club. She hopes that the 1990 season will see more people playing and helping with tournament organisation throughout the year. Carol thanked her committee for the dedi-

cation put into the club over the past year. A reasonably well attended meeting brought forward a new committee for the 1990 season. The committee stands as: President Marty McGrath, Treasurer Erin Ikin, Secretary Sue Pearson, Ladies Club Captain Christine Hawira, Mens Club Captain Robert Brown, Committee members Lesley Todd, Aroha Irwin, Russell Flavell, Paul Winter, Graham Irwin.
