Twilight tennis
Twilight tennis at the Raetihi Tennis Club is going exceptionally well, with games being keenly contested. The competition has been split into two night a week to get the games through. Points to date are as follows: •Untouchables 100 Ultimate Warriors 98 College 1 89 Winstones 76 Popemobiles 73 Ohakune Raiders 2 70 Racket Quellers 65 Neighbours 5 8 Pink Panthers 54 Bushwhackers 5 2 Ohakune Raiders 1 43 Young Ones 35 College 2 22 Teams are requested to turn up on time, and Captains asked to make sure that their team are all present. All team members must be financial by 1 December or whole team loses points to date. An interesting feature is that in the Young Ones, the total ages of the first four original members total 234 years with the oldest member turning 61 this week. Quite remarkable when you compare this with a total of approximately 68 years in one of the College teams!
