JUNIOR COUNCIL FOR WAIMARINO YOUTH

A junior council in the Waimarino has been suggested by Ruapehu Mayor Garrick Workman. Last week he told the Taumarunui Junior Council he was interested in setting up a similar junior council in the Waimarino. He told the group he would like to use the Taumarunui council as a model for setting up one covering Raetihi, Ohakune and possibly Waiouru, with children from schools within that area involved.
