RAETIHI SCHOOL SELLS ITSELF TO TEACHERS

Raetihi School has jumped feet first into the spirit of Tomorrow's Schools and produced a brochure to attract junior staff to the school. Principal Doug McLean said the five page brochure would be sent to training colleges around the country to try to attract high quality junior staff. He said the school is in good shape at the moment for permanent staff but short of relievers. The brochure, produced with the help of the Ruapehu Bulletin and Peach Cornwall and Partners, promotes the town of Raetihi and the area as well as the school itself.
