The next two weeks are looking to be very busy for the Waimarino Smallbore Club shooters. Seven members have been selected to shoot in the Wanganui Representative teams at Okoia over the next fortnight. For a small country club this is an exceptional feat. All
the members who were nominated for the representative teams were accepted. Best personal scores for week ending 13 August are: L Maru 98.2; C Bright 95.3; L Catt 95.2; B McGinniss 95.0; M Mara 94.1; R MacLean 93.0; H Macdonnell 87.0; D Williams 86.1; J Bright 81.0.
