Junior skiing
The Coca-Cola North Island Junior Ski championship will be held at Whakapapa on Wednesday and Thursday 30 & 31 August. The event has previously been held at Tukino but poor snow conditions over the past three seasons has necessitate^ moving it
to Whakapapa. The racing is split into three age categories in slalom and giant slalom. J1 under 18 years, J2 under 16 years and J3 under 14 years. About 150 junior racers are expected to contest the event in all three categories.
