Lack of attendance may mean loss

Late last month the Rangitikei branch of the SPCA had its AGM. NO members of the community attended Do they all want to lose their SPCA and all the funds raised in their area for the

construction of an animal shelter? Or are there still some people out there that really care. Because if sufficient members aren't found soon, the committee will be disbanded and animals in this area may suffer. I think it is a sad area we live in when those who can not speak for themselves suffer pain or distress, purely because of peoples unwillingness to get involved. For further information or if you can help, please contact Gail in Taihape, 81161, or Debie in Waiouru, 56723, or Karen in Ohakune, 58079.
