KEEP NZ BEAUTIFUL GROUP NEEDS LEADER

The Ohakune Keep New Zealand Beautiful Committee needs a chairman. Waimarino councillor Peggy Frew told the works committee at their last meeting that the committee needed a strong chairman to keep the committee going. She said the national body of KNZB had contacted her and said there were certain activities that needed to be carried out to stay within the programme and that the Ohakune group was not doing so at present. She said Ohakune was missing out on a lot of opportunities through KNZB by not being organised. She asked councillors if they know of someone who is willing to chair the committee to let her know.
