The monthly meeting of the Farmer's Union, wes held in the Schoolroom on Saturday Dec. 21. Mr. G.W.Thomson the Riding member, attended the meetr ing, aud submitted a scheme for iuir proving the roads, He suggested that a Special District be fqrnied and a loan of ;§6OO raised; all land in the district to be vated to provide interest and sinking fund.. The suggestion caused considerable discus^'oft, hut nothjng was decided. There wus also an inlormal discussion on the prospects of the Dairy industry.
