Dome Valley.

The adjourned meeting of the Dome Galley branch of the N. Z. Farmers' Union was held on Saturday Aug. 24. Mr. Jebson was in the chairman, md explained what hid beer, done at .he previous meeting. A roll of membership was formed, comprising 17 working and two honorary members. After some discussion, in which the nse of the union' as a political'machine was deprecated, the election of officers took place. The result was —Chairman; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. Blair; and Messrs. G. Phillips, B. C. Shepherd, S. H. Phillips, j. Wedding, and Phillips, The members present agreed to use their influence to increase the number of members. It was resolved that the Branch meet monthly in the schoolroom on the Saturday on or before the full moon, at 7.30 p.m. sharp. (Own Correspondent.)
