MUST SURRENDER LOOT OF VALUE
U.S. Regiment's £200,000 Silver Service NEW YORK, Feb. 12. The Baltimcre Sun reports that the War and Navy Departments have directed all American servieemen who brought looted art treasures home from the war zones to surrender them if worth more than 5000 dollars. Otherwise the holders be liable to prosecution. °The new policy may basten decision cn the disposal of a silver service estimated to be worth £200,000, which is engraved with the crest of the former German royal family, and is sufficient for 500 persons, now' held in Baltimore by the 175th Regiment of the ££>th Division.
