I ? HAMBURG, Feb. 4. The names of the 15 former memj hers of the staflf of Ravensbruck ! women's concentration camp accused of atroeities and on whom sentence [ 1 as been passed by the War Crimes i Court is announced as follow: — Johann Schwarzhuber, deputy camp commandant, who was found guilty of mass extermination. Ludwig Ramdour, who admitted torturing women to obtain confessions. Gustav Blnder, an S.S. man who admitted beating women. Heinrich Peters, an S.S. captain who admitted providing firing-squads for the execution of prisoners. Dorothea Binz, chief warilress, who beat prisoners and set dogs on them. Vera Salvequart, a nursc* who gave ' lethal injections. Elizabeth Marschall, matron, who was responsible for conditions at the camp hospital where babies starved to death. Dr. Gerhard Scbidlaushy, camp medical ofRcer, who connived at experimental operations. Percy Treite, who ill-treated prisoner patients. Dr. Rolf Rosentbal, who was present at experimental operations. Dr. Marten Hellenger, camp dentist, who extraeted teeth from eorpses. Elizabeth Mewes, wardress in the punishment block. " Greta Boesel, chief wardress of the labour hattalion, who beat prisoners, Eugenia von Skena, who acted as a spy for the S.S. Carmen Maria Mory, who denied / being an international spy. Thc name of Captain Adolf Winkelmann, who ' died from a heart attack on Saturday, was mitted from the list of findings. The women who will die are Binz, Salvequart, Marschall, Boesel and Mory. The men sentenced to death are: Schwarzhuber, Ramdour, Binder, Schidlausky, Treite and Rosenthal. Other sentenees were: Peters, 15 years' imprisonment; Hellenger, 15 years ; Mewes, 10 years; von Skena, 10 years. Russian officer observers attending the trial stated that they were pleased with the decisions, but had expected that Mewes and Peters would also be hanged. The pronotmcement of the sentenees to'ok 14 minutes, the prisoners filing singly into the dock. Most of the women closed their eyes as sentence was passed. Eugenia von Skena, who is a eripple, leaned on a stick as she stood in the dock. Most of the condemned men showed little emotio-n, but the faces of those sentenced to imprisonment showed relief.
