Lambs & Breeding Ewes Meet Good Demalid At its last Ngongotaha stock and sheep sale, the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, found a keen demand for store iambs and breeding ewes. There was a good yarding. Quotations: Fat woolly . lambs 28/6, fat wethers to 34/3, fat hogget? 33/-, fat S.D. ewes 27/-, fat ewes 23./-, woolly M.S. lambs 24/6 to 24/9, shorn wether lambs 22/1, shoVn 'ewe lambs 22/6, woolly ewe lambs 23/-, 2-tooth ewes 34/-, 4-tooth ewes" 35/4, M.A. ewes 28/6, 5-year ewes:26/7, 5 and 6-year ewes 24/1, store 2-tooth wethers 29/6, fat heifers £9/7/6, cows and calves £7/17/6, M.C. vearling steers £6, A'i'.C. yearling heifers £5, rising- 2 year Jersey heifers R.W.B. to £8/15, springing dairy heifers £10, springing dairy . cows tc- £9/15/-, bulls £5/10/- £8/15/- to £9/15/-. Pigs: Good light porkers £3/6/-, sows to farrow £5, slips-31/-, weaners 19/-.
