WELLINGTON, Last Night. On the fo'urth day of the National Yeai-ling Saies, 53 lots sold for 23,275 guineas, averaging 439 guineas. There were 300 lots sold over the four days for 182,590 guineas, an average price of 608 guineas. This beats the previous record of last year, when 251 lots realised 148,695 guineas, an average of 559 gns. The best price to-day, ° 2000 guineas, was paid by Mr. A. Louisson, of Christchurch, for the Balloch — Black Cat colt. No f.ewer than 57 lots have fetched 1000 guineas or more and Australian buyers secured 54 yearlings.
