SOVIET WHALERS LEAVE FOR ANTARCTIC
LONDON, Jiin. 2. A Russian whaling expedition lef't -.'or the Antarctic yesterday, following similar expeditions whieh have h'ft Britain, Nc-rway, Holland and Japan. Groups already in the Antarctic, aceording to a London report, amount to 14 factories and over 60 chasers. By international agreements the total catch will be limited to 16,000 whales and 200,000 tons oi oil.
