Coming of Age Celebration
On Friday, December 6, Mr. and Mrs. Bangs, of Rotorua, entertained guests at Devon Street Hall to mark the coming of age of their youngest son, 'Ei-ic. During the evening, musical and vocal items and games were interspersed between dancing. The cake, with 21 candles adorning it, was cut during supper. After a speech by Mr. Bangs, a large lcey, which had been auotgraphed by all the gues'ts, was presented to Eric, who suitahly replied. Several guests made appropriate speeches. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Mary Ourr.y and Mr. E. Meads. Mr. T. Bangs was the M.C. A very happy time eoncluded during the early hours of Saturday morning.
