London, Dec. 14. It is estimated that the new Cunard White Star Company will control £23,000,000 capital, 750,000 tons of shipping and a staff of 35,000 ashore and afloat. The Daily Telegraph states that the T'reasury is prepared to guarantee £6.000,000, which suggests th' ' building of a sister ship will also be financed, as work remaining to he done on the present Cunarder at most will cost ahout £4,000,000. The work will afford direct employment for 3000 and for 10,000 or more indirectly.
