CANADA TO EXPORT FIVE AND HALF MILLION GALLONS TO U.S.

Mr. Joseph Choate, junior, direetor of the Federal Alcohol Control Administration, announced late today that liquor importcrs had been given permits to import 5,580,590 gailons of Canadian liquor during the four months quota period, approximately half the amount for blending purposes. Canada is the only sour'ce of supply for American favoured Bourbon and dry whisky. Canada thus tops all counti'ies in the amount of liquor that she may send into the United States, Italy is next with 1,100,000 gallons.
